I am an experienced, Dublin-based psychotherapist with an honours degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy obtained from Dublin Business School. I have worked with the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC), the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre (DRCC), Crosscare, the DIT Counselling Service and most recently Pieta House Suicide and Self Harm Prevention Centre. I adhere to the ethics of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). My approach is integrative and humanistic and brings together person-centred, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness approaches. I put emphasis on the relationship between client and therapist which is based on openness, trust, empathy, genuineness, unconditional positive regard and compassion. Each person is an individual so each therapy is tailored to the individual. I work with adults over 18 years of age on a one-to-one basis.
