Mindfulness meditation is beautifully simple. 
The essence of mindfulness is observation without criticism, 
and being compassionate with yourself.
At its heart, mindfulness allows you to catch negative thought 
patterns before they trip you into a downward spiral.

Benefits of Mindfulness Meditation -

Numerous psychological 
studies have shown that regular meditators are happier and more 
contented than average. Anxiety, irritability and depression 
all decrease with regular meditation. 
Memory improves, reaction times become faster and mental and physical stamina increases.
Regular meditators enjoy better and more fulfilling relationships. 
Meditation has also been found to be effective in reducing the impact 
of serious conditions such as chronic pain and can even help with 
drug and alcohol dependence. Studies have also shown that meditation 
bolsters the immune system and helps to fight off colds, flu and other diseases.
Mindfulness practice need not take a lot of time, although initially some 
patience and persistence are required. Meditation is not complicated, 
it is not about success or failure either. Even when meditation feels 
difficult, you will find benefit.
